“Born out of ignorance” is the comment from one of the Japanese digital lomographers. The original model was VQ-1005 and the idea was just to create a mini keychain size digital lomo camera. The picture quality of this little guy was the dream of the Japanese lomographers – dark corners, rich color saturation and contrast.
After the first batch of VQ-1005 was sold out, VistaQuest upgraded the picture quality of this camera to look like normal digital photos. It was not accepted by the digital lomographers, therefore, the Japanese lomographers decided to work with VistaQuest to develop a new model VQ1015 ENTRY. This model is exclusive for the Japanese market and it can capture exceptional film “lomo-feel” pictures. First batch was launched last December and was sold out in a month, this is the most popular mini digital lomo cameras in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
